origins of outerwear burton mac trench coat lookbook

Following on from my last post about the street art tour of Shoreditch I thought another little lookbook should be on the agenda. During the tour I had the chance to snap a few photos of my Burton Shower Resistant Mac and the graffiti made for a perfect modern backdrop.

The mac itself is very lightweight and lined with a fine dogtooth patterned fabric which makes it perfect for those all too regular windy and drizzly London days. The design of the trench coat is very sleek and minimal so I didn’t want to go overboard with the accessories but only something that will amplify the look.

I decided to go for a wool scarf with a green/red plaid pattern as it wasn’t too big and ostentatious. The scarf I’m wearing in he picture was made for me by a close friend but you can get a similar one for yourself from ASOS or River Island.
