The story behind General Knot & Co. is the one about two guys of like-mind who happened to meet while waiting for a train to New York City. One, a Design Director in the Fashion District and the other a technology engineer in the Flatiron District. Even with totally different career paths, their conversation quickly revealed a shared adoration for great colors and patterns, all things vintage, and an unyielding desire to create enduring products. The foundation of General Knot and Co. was set. Some interesting thoughts on receiving these beautiful pieces.
The material is of a deadstock Pima Cotton shirting from Italy. Smooth material and you can tell upon putting these ties together, they paid great attention to detail. Use of very fine stitching was on point in on both of these ties. The choice of floral print was perfect for summer casual looks. The pocket square would be a great addition to either of these as well on a sports coat or light blazer. Packaging was also aesthetically pleasing going along with the vintage-esque, New England inspiration. These products are made in the USA. Check out and grab some HERE
