For the AW14 collection Duchamp created five profiles that all showcase individual men’s styles and we’ve already covered the Jet-Setting Rogue in a previous Style Division post. The autumn/winter campaign aims to capture the styles any discerning gentleman should know about for the upcoming season.
The second of our stories for the Autumn Winter 2014 is The Artist which draws inspiration from the weird and wacky world of art that rarely pays attention to other perceptions or opinions. The shirts are accented with bright and bold primary colours as well as hints of pointillism which is a painting technique in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to create an image.
The bold designs on Duchamps Italian made shirts are indeed striking and would actually work better worn by themselves than with a jumper or a jacket. If you have to wear a suit or a jacket make sure it’s of a plain disposition as there’s nothing more obvious to the eye than clashing patterns.
