The looks and fashion trends that men are bringing to street style in 2015 have been inspired by runway fashions from Paris, Milan, and London. Refreshing and original, the following is a preview of what we can expect this year. It’s clear that there’s much to look forward to… from Hawaiian prints and blazers to outerwear, casual styles, and innovative accessories.

2015 Fashion Trends #1 – Hawaiian Prints and Blazers

One of the top styles in the forecast this spring is the energized Hawaiian print. Spattered with Hibiscus flowers and palm leaves, cotton-blend Hawaiian blazers, short-sleeved shirts, tees and board shorts will add drama to all sectors of life. Blazers in assorted designs and styles promise to show up everywhere. Dyed linen and black cotton blazers will be united with a colourful array of shirts and tees. Pinstriped jackets will be worn over striped t-shirts. Longer length, collarless jackets, double-breasted blazers, and slim-cut suit coats, such as the latest styles found at Connor, provide excellent options for merging traditional style with the latest street fashions.

2015 Fashion Trends #2 – Outerwear Fashions

Outerwear is emphasized this season in revamped trench-coat styles, bonded nylon, suede car coats, waterproof resin, and updated tweeds. Edgy twists on classic looks will be turning heads. Exotic knitwear, military jackets and zip-up leather boots are just a few of the chic looks in store for this year.  Loose fitting, low-maintenance coats, such as pea jackets, parkas and capes will veer away from approaches that are more traditional.

2015 Fashion Trends #3 – Trends in Casual Wear

While outerwear and street-style blazers will turn heads, more casual, recreational wear will include offbeat t-shirt prints, oversized sweatshirts, relaxed short-sleeve shirts, casual shorts, drawstring trousers, and lightweight bomber jackets. Slim-legged black jeans will be combined with solid colour and white shirts. Shirtsleeves and pant-legs will be turned back to create cuffs, and blue jeans will be as laid back as ever when worn with a lightweight ribbed jersey or Brando-style tees. Board shorts, swim trunks, and briefs are expected to be as colourful and fun loving as the outerwear. Short styles will be fashioned to hug the body and reveal more skin. Print swim shorts, brightly coloured, and almost nude looks are on the warm weather radar.  Tunic tops, pockets, zippers and buttons will add interest in this year’s refreshing approach to style.

2015 Fashion Trends #4 – Go To Accessories

Accessories have been revamped for 2015. Coated-canvas casual shoes will rock the scene.  These ‘mixed-media’ shoes are comprised of multiple layers and textures so they adapt well with casualwear and are perfectly suited to the latest street styles. Leather, canvas, and rubber combine for go-to fashion that is less formal than traditional oxfords, but dressy enough to make a statement. Slim totes and man-purses offer expanded options for carrying personal items. Derby hats, ascots, pocket squares, ties, metal watches and statement sunglasses provide accents that will give this year’s fashion scene a considerable edge over 2014.
